The Borough of Bristol is currently looking for individuals who are interested in performing code enforcement duties on both a full time and part time basis.  This individual does not need to be a licensed inspector, but prior knowledge in construction, buildings and/or trades is preferred. The duties of the code enforcement positions include but are not limited to: responding and investigating property maintenance complaints, initiating necessary correctional requests to the offending party, assisting the Borough Inspector with rental, Use & Occupancy and business inspections, and other duties as deemed necessary to assist the Inspection Department on a daily basis.

 

The applicant should have the following minimum qualifications:

 

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Driver’s License

• Computer Literate – both MS Outlook and Word

• Some prior Building, Construction or Trade Experience

• Be able to pass criminal background, drug screen and medical exam
